Nancy Lally is Hilton's Midwest Area Regional Director of Human Resources, working closely with 35 properties. In this role, she is focused on diversity and inclusion, succession planning and talent management, labor and employee relations, learning and development, and total rewards. Nancy began her career at Hilton as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at the historic Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel. She served as Director of Human Resources Hilton Pittsburgh and the Hilton Chicago before being promoted to Area Director of Human Resources for 11 properties in the Chicagoland area. She credits Executive Leadership as the reason for success and teaches a class on the topic at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Dedicated to developing future leaders, Nancy is involved with the Executive Council Member of Women in Lodging with the American Hotel Lodging Association and a Co-Chairperson for the Stars of the Industry Nomination & Publicity Committee with the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association. In these roles, she helps others develop their skillset and encourages recognition for their achievements. She is a board member of the Hotel Human Resources Association of Chicago, Manfred Steinfeld School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Heller College of Business Roosevelt University, and the School of Hospitality Leadership at DePaul University. Nancy's philanthropic spirit brings her to work with the Chicago Police Department's Domestic Violence Division to enhance survivors' family experiences. Nancy holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Master's Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Roosevelt University. Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and the outdoors.
